This is sort of the heart of downtown Lisbon.
- Rua Augusta
One of the many street performers on Rua Augusta. The dog sang along with the accordian. I have to give the dog points. He managed to sing and hold the tip jar in his mouth at the same time. - Arco De Rua Augusta Halls
These are the halls that run underneath the Arch, perpendicular to Rua Augusta - Rua Augusta
Rua Augusta from the other direction, looking back through the arch at the statue of King Jose I. This pic was taken at about 9:30 am, before all the street vendors and restaurants open up. By 10:30 this street is usually packed. - Arco De Rua Augusta
This triumphal arch connects the Praca do Comercio with Rua Augusta. It's sort of the 'Entrance' to old downtown Lisboa. And what picture of Lisbon would be complete without one of the many old electric trams.
