Evora CathedralThis is the oldest gothic style cathedral in Portugal. The original structure was built between 1184 and 1204, however, it's been expanded several times through history with the additions of the cloisters, the chapel of the Esporao, and the rebuilt main chapel.

This is a panoram of the main altar area. The two side mini-chapels are actually at 180 degrees to each other. - Apostles
These are statues of the Apostles which guard the main entrance (there are another 6 on the other side). - Se de Evora

This is a panorama of one corner of the cloister. These halls are at right angles and at the corner is a statue of one of the Evangalists. - Main Chapel
This is the main area of the chapel where the majority of the pews are. At the upper left you can see part of the Pipe Organ which is suspended about 15 feet up and built into the columns. It's the oldest Pipe Organ in Portugal still in active use.
