Angkor Wat in the background and one of the towers of Phnom Bakheng in the foreground. Phnom Bakheng is a 'temple mountain', having a temple built on top of a natural hill (in honor of the Hindu relevant 'Mount Meru'). It's one of the older sites in the Angkor area, built in the mid 9th century....a full 200 years before Angkor Wat.
