Home / Joe Wise / Thailand / South East Islands 7
Southeast Thailand has an area of approximately 80 small islands. Only about 6 are actually inhabited.
- Waterfall 1
Waterfall 1 (and 2) are on Koh Samui. This picture only represents about half of it. It descends into small pools in the middle of the jungle, where you can swim in it, before descending again. - Waterfall 2
'Waterfall 2' is just as creatively named as 'Waterfall 1'. It's also on Koh Samui. - Sunset over Koh Nangyuan
- Sunset on Koh Tao
- Koh Tao and Koh Nangyuan
Koh Nangyuan is the small island to the left. It's actually a tiny archipelago of 3 islands that are connected by a beach at low tide. Believe it or not, there are limited accomodations on Koh Nangyuan. - The coast of Koh Tao
Koh Toa was the island where I went diving. This is the eastern coast of Koh Tao - Hin Ta
Hin Ta means 'Grandfather'. Believe it or not, there's a rock about 20 meters away called 'Hin Yai' (Grandmother). It's equally connotative. Unfortunately, you have to get wet to see it, so, you can see it here.
